Winning a year’s worth of hockey gear and meeting your hockey heroes is every kid’s dream. Go Auto makes that dream a reality with their Gear for a Year contest. We designed and delivered a campaign to generate awareness around Go Auto’s Gear for a Year contest with hockey players Leon Draisaitl and Kris Russell.

To start, we conceptualized three distinct video treatments. After obtaining client-approval on their favourite concept, we began the pre-production process. One of the biggest challenges we faced was a limited time-frame with each player. To counteract this, we limited the number of camera set-ups required.
We shot on-location at Rogers Place, using the community rink locker room. Although timing was tight, we were able to successfully capture the necessary footage of both players.
